Newsflash: Migraines suck, but I live with them. Sometimes every day. Join me on my chronic pain journey, and learn a little, cry a little, and laugh a lot- I know I do.

Did you know that famous Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh suffered from chronic migraine? “Migraines at that time were perceived as mild insanity… Van Gogh’s famous painting, “Starry Night,” was painted at the St. Remy Asylum in France in 1889, where he was being treated for his “Migraine personality.” (http://www.migraines.org/about/abouawar.htm)

Many people, young and old suffer from chronic illness- often those that are debilitating yet invisible (though few produce famous pieces of art). This blog aims to educate the public about life with chronic pain, spread awareness about these illnesses, and provide support and a relatable journey for those suffering.
